I’m still the little girl who was filled with hopes and dreams, learning to embrace the journey between who I was and who I've become.
It’s a journey of healing—a reminder to hold onto that inner child, even as we grow.
In this series of paintings, I explore the complex relationship between my present self and my inner child.

Each composition highlights an activity that once brought me joy, but which became complicated with age. In one painting, I draw—a passion I once set aside out of fear, rekindling my love for creating without judgment.

The final painting centers on my natural hair, a part of myself that became entangled with complex feelings as I grew, contrasting with the carefree innocence of childhood when such worries didn’t exist.
In The Garden
Each scenes symbolize a space of healing and acceptance, where I can reconnect with the girl I once was, rekindling a relationship with my younger self. By doing so, I hope to inspire others to remember the joy of being young, to cherish it, and perhaps to hold onto a piece of that inner child as they navigate through adulthood.
